Lockdown Update - June 2020
A THANK YOU to everone ...
Hi to all my Facebook and Social Media friends and supporters.
It seems that isolation is now being more relaxed and we can now meet up to 5 others outside in the park or in your gardens, and I trust this will help ALL of you in coming out of isolation and meeting friends and family once again. I know I can’t wait.
I wanted to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who has responded to the images posted over the past 3 months or so.
I decided to try and post an image every day to help lift the spirits of those who were in isolation, or those who didn’t want to go out or couldn’t’, so they could at least see something fun, bright, uplifting, beautiful each and every day, even if it was just a picture. I hoped that this would help people’s mental health while in lockdown.
I know from your comments and feedback many of you have appreciated them, so I want to appreciate you all and say Thanks.
During lockdown I’ve been able to go out cycling most days and have been volunteering locally as well as looking after friends and neighbours, like so many of you all. It’s been a time to help and support others.
So, now that lockdown is being relaxed, I will be posting less often (well maybe) and wanted to say I’d love to meet anyone who has liked/commented/shared my images. If you fancy a chat over the phone, over the garden gate or through the door or window, let me know and I’ll pop round. Social distancing will still apply.
If you’re still isolating for any reason, likewise. I’d love to pop round and lend some moral support in any way I can.
Finally, I've been asked many times over the last few weeks if I sell my images, or will be running an exhibition once its all over. To help, I've setup a Lockdown 2020 gallery on the site where you can download or order a print for home. Again, I hope it helps a little to keep us all sane during this time.
All the best and here's to a great summer for us all,
Graham
